NYC New Year's Eve 2012 Celebration

(December 31, 2011) After putting it off for nearly 40 years, I was presented with a special opportunity to experience the arrival of the New Year at Times Square. Not since the anti-nuclear demonstrations of the 80s had I felt the energy of over a million people all around me. New York is eternally in my blood. I felt sadness and pride for the members of my family who have long left this earth, and I gave thanks for those loved ones who are still continuing the journey. Peace and Love to all of you!
