(May 17, 2014) Over 25 competitors faced off at the 2014 DMC NYC Regional DJ Battle II. The clash between turntablists took place in the Webster Hall, located at 125 East 11th Street (between Third and Fourth Avenues).
(February 1, 2014) MAMBOSO.NET had the honor of being one of the 2014 DMC NYC Regional DJ Battle sponsors. The well-attended event held at Webster Hall was hosted by Lord Finesse with sounds by GrandWizzard Theodore. The GrandWizzard was also a member of the judging crew that included DJ Slyce, DJ Spictakular, Johnny Juice, DJ Rafik, and a few others.

(August 6, 2013) After spending a good part of the day at the Casita Maria Block Party, I took a quick spin by the 2013 DMC US Finals DJ Battle headed up by Christie-Z Pabon. The competition was hosted by Kool DJ Red Alert and featured spinning appearances by Rockin’ Rob, Izoh (2012 DMC World Champion from Japan), and Johnny Juice (Public Enemy).
(March 19, 2012) The good weather has hit NYC and the scent of aerosol spray paint is in the air. Tats Cru and friends were out on the streets keeping the first element alive. Hitting the walls in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx at Spofford Ave and Drake Street were: SAK, NICER, SADE TCM, BG183, DMOTE, DAZE, GOLDIE (from the UK), BIO, SHAME125, BEOND, CRASH, and WANE.
(September 3, 2011) Bboys and Bgirls converged on PS 72 Schoolyard in East Harlem to do battle for cash, prizes and a shot at the title of “Master”. Competitors came from all over the city, country and other parts of the world.
(June 11, 2011) Santos Party House was the arena for the 2011 DMC East Coast & DMC Battle for US Supremacy. Turntablists from all over the United States made their way to New York City with their eyes on the prize.
(October 18, 2010) BBoyworld held its “EVOLUTION 5” World Finals, this past weekend, attracting hundreds of contestants including crews. $15,000 in cash and prizes, including a paid trip to attend le festival Chelles Battle Pro 2011 in France, went to the Top16 winner.
(July 24, 2010) Hosted by one of the first Hip-Hop dance choreographers and dance pioneers, Brooklyn born and raised Buddha Stretch – STEPYAGAMEUP! 2010 brought together street dancers from all over the USA, Canada and other parts of the World.
